Gone to the birds....

This place we are living is literally crawling with birds--or would that me flying? We have so enjoyed them! We have seen sparrows, doves, wood-peckers, camp-robbers, wrens, and more recently, robins! It's still cold and wintery here -- in fact, we have had snow the last several days. That has not stopped the robins though. I guess they know that spring is coming regardless of how it looks or feels. I counted 22 of them in my backyard today. I took a few pictures today, from the IN-side of my kitchen window. We received some bad/sad news today and I am especially loving the above photo and poem! Then below, some from the 'lighter side'.

Tiny Talk Tuesday!

Kammy: "Ahhh! Help mommy! Come quick! Kaite has boogey juice running down her nose!"

Kammy: "There are Bible letters hiding in my heart!" (They word have a hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:11)

Then there was the comment about the "lower case 'i' which earned it's own blog post. GREAT lesson here, people! Just click to read.

The Walmart cashier looked at our 4 girls and said, "Wow! 4 girls! No boys?" Kammy says, " Well....we DO have a boy at home--one time he even pooped on the floor!" (Yes, I did feel it needful to tell her the BOY is a DOG!)

And of course, I am linking up for Tiny Talk again and loving all the fun things your kiddos say!

14 years!

I'm not really sure where time goes. It seems like just the day before yesterday I was dressing up in momma's clothes and dreaming little-girl dreams of a fairytale wedding. Then yesterday, I married my best friend, boyfriend, and the man of my dreams.

Today was our 14th Wedding Anniversary!
God has blessed us richly, in all the ways that count, and we continue to,
"Cherish the Treasure"

I cherish the treasure
The treasure of you
Lifelong companion
I give myself to you
God has enabled me
To walk with you faithfully
And cherish the treasure
The treasure of you
As I obey the Spirit's voice
And seek to do His will
I then can see the wisdom of His plan
For as He works His will in me
I then can love you selflessly
And by His grace, can pledge my love to you
Chorus
This sacred vow I make to you
Does not contain an "if"
Though I'm aware that trials lie ahead
I will love you and pray with you
And through it all, I will stay with you
Our home will be a refuge of
Unconditional love
Chorus
Cherish the treasure
The treasure of you
