Here is a picture I took of one of Kammy's school work pages. She was to draw a clock and a face. Which she did and asked me to help her with the numbers on the clock face. On the rest of the circles she drew "QUARTERHORSES!" I know....I'll never get ahead of this kid! :)
Last night daddy took the littles on a 4-wheeler ride out in the field behind our house. They picked apples and flowers from mommy--they look so pretty on my kitchen counter.
Kammy had an "apple shop" later named the "Apple-loosa." Obviously she still loves horses!
Kammy still loves school. She's only 5, but is doing well. She loves getting up early to "watch God wake the sun up!"I'm really proud of all my girls. One morning, I was fighting a migraine, so I slept in a little. When I got up at 7:30, the older ones had finished breakfast and cleaned up the mess. They were dressed and having their devotions. Parenting is tough at times, but these moments make it all worthwhile!
Saturday, Kaite got a new pair of shoes. I told her they were awesome, to which she said, "Shoes not awesome. Daddy AWESOME!" Aww....smart girl! Daddy bought the shoes, and anyway....I agree--he is pretty awesome!
Kammy asked her sisters one day this week, "Have I turned a little nicer today?"
Friday night, we went up in the shed attic clubhouse and played games with the girls. They thought that was pretty special. After daddy won a game of "In a Pickle" Kammy said, "That was a classy move!"
One day this week I overheard Kammy and Kaite playing--they were "getting ready for their honeymoon!"
Being a SAHM/homeschool educator =Special moments that I wouldn't miss for anything! One such moment recorded below....
Part of the alphabet song we sing every day includes these words, "Letters make names as well you see, and Jesus is best of all to me!" When we got to this part today, Kammy reached over and threw her arms around me with tears in her eyes. Sort of made all the frustrating teaching moments fly out the window.

Kaite had two little horses she was playing with during church and afterwards we asked her what their names were...."Sinner and Repentance!"
Kaite was watching me do some sewing and she saw me cut a ribbon, to which she said, "You cut that--you silly kid!"
Kaite has not had an accident day or night for weeks! She even gets up in the night to go. That can be a problem, as she thinks the potty chair has to be emptied immediately. I guess I didn't wake up too good one night, because she emptied it herself. Only she got a little confused. See, she has seen my rinse it in the sink, so she just EMPTIED it in the sink--OUR SINK and it was HARD potty! Oh I better tell you--that means #2 (hard because it's hard to do as opposed to easy). Really, I am so glad that I bit the bullet and got this potty training over quickly. I simply do not have time to spend 6 months or more on this! A few days of concentrated effort on MOM's part, and it's over--on with life!
Im linking up for tiny talk again this week.
Below is a cute video clip of Kaite falling asleep in her cereal.
I'm so thankful for an opportunity to record these special moments. Children grow so quickly and time is so fleeting.
Thanks for stopping by to share in my joy! :)
