Tiny Talk Tuesday

It has been so long since I posted for Tiny Talk that I barely know where to start. Just one of the many good things about facebook, is that when I get behind, I can go back there and get many of the cute things my kids have said/done off of old stats. I know I'm going to miss a few things....
Kammy was soooo happy to finally arrive home to Idaho and Rancher! She told me it was the best day of her whole life! She actually fell asleep in Cali and woke up in Idaho. Wish I could say the same for the rest of us.
Since being home, Kammy has also enjoyed spending some time at Grandma's house. Grandma was playing Kammy's computer game and the time ran out so she lost. Kammy says, "Here Gramma, I will get you a different one. You could probably do level one."
Kaite has gotten pretty good at running a computer as well. In fact, I walked in the room the other day and she had evidently linked over from an email I had left open, and was on facebook. She said she was "Type a message".
Kaite in her carseat: "WAhahhhaAAAHhhaaaWaa!" Kayla: "Does that help?" Kaite: "NOOOOO!" Kayla: "Then why do you do it?" Kaite: "Betause...I notty!"
And another time *Riding in the truck* Kaite: "WaahahaawaahaWaaa!" Kammy: "Kaite, you are going to give me another ear infection!" This happens a lot. Kaite is our first baby to fight her carseat. I think maybe she is allergic to it. :)
Me to Kaite: "You are too big for a bop." Kaite: *holding bottle up to wide open mouth* "See, still fit!"
When we were getting ready to leave Cali I was trying to pack things up and Kaite is going around behind me UNpacking and she says, "Busy, busy, all'time!"
Kaite still loves her cambells "dora doup". The other day she came dressed like this carry a can asking for some. She also found the leftover hot wings from our family night pizza party one morning while on vacation, and was putting them away--in her tummy! She loves spicy things. Silly girl!

Memory Monday

Remember Memory Monday? Me neither. I think I was planning to do a memory post every Monday....or something like that. I think it might have happened once? Well...yesterday, we were at my parent's place for Father's Day and the girls and I got to digging for memories. We found this picture of me when I was maybe 4. I think that maybe I was practicing up for Kaite. I cannot tell you the hours/nights I have spent just like this!
Then we found this Father's Day card that I made for my daddy when I was about 10. This is page one.
...and this is page 2, 3, and 4...
finally, the last page. :)
This here is an interesting piece of history. My Grandma received this letter informing her of her brother's wounding in action during the Korean war. If I am reading it right, the year was 1950?
Below is a picture of me playing house in what I am sure was my big brother's corn field. He was 10 years my senior and I'm not sure what he thought about my making "house" here, but it sure was fun! He loved to grow things--seems he got a great sense of accomplishment in seeing the harvest. This picture proves the idea that a home is what you make it. Even a corn field can be made pretty by placing a vase of flowers on the table and a fussy baby in your arms. :) I vaguely remember that my baby was pretty fussing this day too. See, I really did start preparing myself for the joys of motherhood at a young age. Haha.
...and underneath are the everlasting arms...Duet. 33:27
