Tiny Talk

I'll begin with the oldest (although not the smallest) tiny. How did she get to be almost 21 already? She told someone at work the other day that she can't wait to be 21...not so she can drink, but so she can have a carry permit. LOL. She is so excited and nervous about beginning her RN course this fall. It's definitely not like anything else she has done. All the CNA, MA, RNA, etc licenses and certificates pale HUGELY in comparison. We know she will do amazing though. She just finished up this semester with a 97.8% in pathophysiology....what is know to be a difficult class! She has a big heart for outreach and works tirelessly with a couple of girls who struggle with addiction. She brings them to church when they aren't in jail and calls and prays for them faithfully. She is living with my dad, does meal plans, shopping, cooking, cleaning and all of that! Things some people my age still can't do.

Kalli is just about to finish up her school year as a dual credit student. She will be a senior this fall and has also taken some college classes working towards her goal of dental hygienist. This is also a two year course once the pre-requisites are completed. She will be taking almost the same prep classes as Kayla did. Kalli also loves to write and bake and play piano and garden. Sometimes it seems she has too many aspirations. She teaches a Sunday school class at church and has recently helped me out on the piano bench too.

Kammy still loves horses. Besides her back brace, that one sentence just about sums up her life. Well, that and drawing. Now, she can draw anything, but she much prefers to draw HORSES to anything else. She will find out later this month if she will need a new back brace for the next year. She is taller than Kayla now and almost as tall as me, but her growth has slowed and that is key for getting out of the brace. She will finish school for the year this week and is beyond excited about foaling season at the barn.

Kaite has finished the fourth grade now and is busy playing with Kaderick. Those two! What one doesn't think of the other definitely will! The other day she suddenly said, "Dear Donald Trump, Please Build a Wall!!! (around me and my brother.) LOL. I think she actually enjoys playing with him, but also sees it as a duty. She has been the sweetest little thing. Loyal to her Papa Germain in their shared loss, she is always ready with a hug.

Kaderick too has finished school and is reading everything. He recently got classes for nearsightedness and astigmatism. Seems he has his daddy's eyes, both color and sight. He's pretty stinking cute in them! The other day he'd been playing out most of the afternoon and came in and sitting down beside me he dozed off almost immediately. Something was said and he startled awake and said, "Hey! Who paused us??" He recently unloaded his daddy's wallet offering to keep it all in his room because and I quote, "If a bad guy ever came, it would be safer in my piggy bank because they wouldn't expect a little boy to have all that money."

Thanks for sharing in our world as we continue "Loving God, Loving Each Other." And that includes you!
