Be Sweet

 

Cleaning out Kaderick’s closet and drawers and he says, “What??? I had no idea that underwear could get to little for a body!!!”

 

We stopped by KMart’s store closing sale and were just casually strolling through until we got to the toys...Kaderick said, “Now we’ve come to the part where we go aisle by aisle."

 

Kaderick wore his pajamas under his church clothes the other evening just to save a few minutes at bedtime for more play time.

 Kammy and “Sylvester” (the back brace she must wear 20 hrs/day) are doing well and making progress towards avoiding back surgery. Sylvester recently had an adjustment at the bequest of Kammy’s doctor. I could tell it was quite uncomfortable afterwards just from grimaces I’d see Kammy make from time to time but she never complained or tried to get out of wearing it. Sh...e diligently keeps track of her time usually setting four one hour timers throughout the day for breaks. She wore it for a month after the adjustment and when we went back for a checkup, the dr checked for sore spots and said, “Kammy, you are officially as tough as nails! I would not wear this for 10 minutes! This is like an Iron Maiden” and with that he sent us for another adjustment straight away. Kammy says it is sooo much better now! In other news and, Kammy will be had a small oral surgery Wednesday morning at 9am. She was blessed with a supernumerary tooth, so they cut that out of the gums before it started coming in and messing up her pretty smile. She did really well and was well cared for by all when arriving home. Kalli kept her stocked in many flavors of jello, Kayla bought her favorite milkshake, Kaitge and Kaderick brought her favorite horses to look at a daddy downloaded a special ap for listening to stories. Mommy ran the pharmacy and all is well.

 

We all love our loud, bouncing, busy, Kalli! She loves dogs and working in the dirt, peacocks, pineapples, exotic teas, talking, entertaining, cooking and camping. She is an aspiring writer with a huge imagination and vocabulary. She wants to clean teeth for a living and she dreams of having twin boys someday and naming them Rudolph and Randolph. First before a husband though, she must own a big tough black pickup truck. She is a morning person and most days is up long before the rest of the family, but beware, she turns into a pumpkin around 7pm and must be treated gently then. She loves Jesus and has a heart for people and a gift of smiling bubbly kindness for all.

We recently completed a family swim course. Something we've been needing and wanting to do for quite some time. It's such a necessary life skill, especially when you live in Idaho with all the lakes and rivers, not to mention irrigation canals. We all learned a lot...including who is afraid of water and who isn't. Hint: The guy riding the shark (almost asleep) in 7ft water was not the one who was afraid.

 

 

In a little over a week we will be leaving for general church camp. We're pretty excited that we all will be able to attend this year and thrilled that Rick will be ordained. It's been a long road and there have been a few bumps along the way in regard to church splits and the devil fighting, but Rick's recent job change freed up enough time to finally complete the required course and we know that God's time us always best.
