Big Boy Room!

Our little man has graduated to a big boy bed. We got him a full size mattress so he could have a sister or two "sleepover" sometimes. We took the front off of his crib and daddy built a wooden box from to attach and we just slid the mattress right up in between the end rails of the crib. This is especially handy since he flops a lot at night. His Mastocytosis causes his histamine levels to peak during the night and he's honestly something akin to clothing in a tumble dryer when he's sleeping. This is because he itches a lot. 

Most of his room decor stayed the same as his nursery décor, I just hit a couple of burgundy colored items with torquoise spray paint to bring out that color in his new bedset. 

The little gun rack was his daddies. The camp chair was mommies. Daddy made his shelf from an old pallet and mommy made the tent hanging on his wall. 

He loves his "new big boy room" but he says he's still a baby!
