Memorial Day

Live thankful.
When you really appreciate what someone has done for you, you live a thankful life striving each day to give back in some small way. I'll not waste the brave sacrifices made by giving up on an America "gone too far." No, there are still good, there is still God. My prayers for God's blessing on America directly reflect the level of my true thankfulness. America's future is not in the hands of evil, but in the hands of the righteous.
Make the "Memorial" mean something!

Sunday afternoon we were in Greenleaf visiting my family. After dinner, we walked through the cemetery and the little old Greenleaf school-house museum. The old truck is in the adjacent field.

It was a fun photo op. Little man stayed behind to keep Grandma company, which explains why he is not pictured. He is just starting to feel better after a recent cold, and it was cool and breezy.

They could almost be a modern day version of Little House.

I liked the old Ford emblem, and the farm land, the sky and the puffy clouds.

Back home, I took a few more pictures.

Your photos are great, especially the last one. Your little guy looks so sweet holding the flag over his shoulder.
Have a good day!
