The Birthday Girl!

Our sweet little miss. I love this stage. While some may say she is vain, I love that she is confident and assured. She'll be self conscious and struggle to fit in soon enough.

She is a quiet little gal, but very loving and sooo very compassionate. She worries about others feelings so much more than her own. Her daddy told her that he was a little sad about her not being 3 anymore, so she told him that if he was still sad, she would go back and be 3 again AFTER she was 4 and 5 for a while.

She's delicate and lady-like, prefers dresses--the fancier the better--LOVES ruffles!

She loves her little blue bed, her special blankets, a lamb named Grace, Mickey Mouse, unicorns and elephants.

She prefers orange juice to milk and loves ice-cream and marshmallows.

She adores her family and regularly thanks Jesus for them during prayer time.

She chose a Minnie Mouse Birthday theme.
I got her polka-dotted dress on sale at Gymboree and I made her mouse ears with a pink headband, some scraps of black felt and a bow.
I think she was/is adorable!

I made her cake using 2 rounds and a small oven-proof bowl. The mouse ears are oreos, covered in icing.

She chose Pepperoni Pizza and Minnie Mouse Yogurt for her special dinner. I used individual pan pizzas and miniature pizza rounds to make minnie pizzas!

She blew her candles out one at a time, thinking carefully and making a wish between each one.

She was very careful to sit on her "party chair" like a lady while opening her gifts.

I'm so blessed to be her mommy.
May the Lord bless her and keep her--ALWAYS!

So adorable, the little girl and her party. Your cake turned out great.

Katie is a beautiful little girl, and she's not vain, she's too young to be vain. It's important for little girls to know that they are beautiful and the confidence that goes along with knowing she is loved is a wonderful thing.
Happy Birthday Katie, you're a living doll!
Hugs, Cindy

Happy Birthday to your sweet, cute little girl. Loved all the pics. The pizza and cake turned out FUN too.

I'm not for sure where you live. Is it ID? We are doing deputation out west now. We may schedule something for Emmett, ID, if we get a chance. Are y'all close to there? I would love it if we could stop by, and go out for a quick ice cream or something so that our families could meet. =)

Just let me know.
Blessings,
~Heather~
