Arlington National Cemetery

One morning we got up early and visited Arlington National Cemetery. It was quiet and peaceful-- the sun shone down upon acres and acres of white stones and I asked God to thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice for my freedoms.

We were able to see the hourly changing of guards at the Tomb of the Unknown.

Outside the amphitheater where Memorial Day services and other patriotic events are held.
