It was a beautiful fall day!
At no additional cost, the kids each get to choose their pumpkin of choice. The only rules are that they must be able to carry it themselves. The pumpkins get bigger and bigger every year!
Kaderick loved seeing all the animals and riding the hay wagon behind the big noisy tractor!
We've been soaking up as much of the outdoors as possible before the cold weather strikes.

We are staying busy with work, church, piano, school, and harvesting the last of our garden bounty.

The kitchen smells like warm cinnamon swirl bread and fresh berry pie.
When we aren't busy with school, creative play runs wild.
Sometimes mommy gets to feeling creative too. I went for a 40's look with the hair here and did some fun victory rolls. Won rave reviews from the man of the house.
Kaite is enjoying our simple relaxed kindergarten schedule, and she was thrilled to lose her first tooth. The tooth fairy was very good to her and brought her a kitty shirt from the Christmas/Birthday stash in mommy and daddy's closet.
Sometimes, you just get worn slap out and the only thing that helps is a little nap to recharge those batteries. Then ya wake up feeling rested and ready to take on those four big sisters!
